Yesterday I took close to 500 pics of the dancers & audiences at the first Taste of Chili Avenue event. Here are a few of the dancers. The event pictures were taken on behalf of Miss Sweet Potato Pie, who has a dance studio for kids on the corner of Chili/Thurston. As I've said before, Miss Sweet Potato Pie (Diane Johnston) has been transforming what used to be a notoriously bad corner into something very positive.

I have many many many more pictures. I used the "sports" setting on my camera so I could snap rapidly in succession in order to catch the action. So I have a whole heck of a lot of JUNK as well.

The rain held off until after the event ended. Hooray!
