Donald and Sean,
Welcome to Location 19 and to the 19th Ward.
I am the new president of the 19th Ward Community Assocation, and a fellow Rugby Ave resident. If you are not already a member of the 19th WCA, I would encourage you to call Ann in our office at 328-6571.
The 19th WCA and our neighborhood need more people to be involved. Even if you are not able to join as a paid/voting member, every resident of the neighborhood is consisdered a member. We want to hear everyone's input and concerns, and we encourage everyone to be involved in whatever way possible.
Welcome, Donald--you and your family. Contrary to what Ken said, I don't think you look pasty at all.
Hope to meet you in the neighborhood. Lots of good stuff goes on, like the event at Holly's on new Year's Eve, Police Citizen interaction meetings, yakking at Boulders, etc. Best to you on Rugby!

I hope you will find this site interesting and useful. Now that you are a member you can post to the Events calendar, Discussion Forum and Blog section of Location19. You can also join groups that are on Location19. Look the groups over and see which ones interest you. Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but it will also permit you to receive email notifications from that group about events, reminders and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
Please be sure to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site. Without it you will miss the latest activity if you are away from the site for a few days.
