It appears that Danny Brooks has moved out of the house.  I checked the property tax files and Cheryl Parsons (his sister) is the owner of record.  The house's tax lien is being managed by AFT.  I am going to contact Officer Dickerson regarding the uncut lawn and the unsecured garage.  If push comes to shove Al and John (our next door neighbor) have volunteered to cut the lawn. KarenSee More

Karen,

Welcome to Location 19.  I would encourage you to join the 19th Ward Community Association.   We are actively working to address issues in our neighborhood and to represent the neighborhood at City Hall.  The more members we have, the more strength we have to address those issues, and the more in-tune we are with what is on the minds of our residents.

Please check out our website at http://www.19wca.org/
You can call Ann at our office at 328-6571.  Registration-only membership is free to all 19th Ward residents.  I would encourage you to consider becoming a paying member, with the Individual level starting at $15.

If you have any questions, comments or input, please feel free to contact me at 527-9619.

Thanks,
DeWain Feller

Hi Karen,

It is nice to see one of our new PAC-TACers joining Location19!  It was great that so many people from Winbourne Rd went through the the last PAC-TAC training class.

Now that you are a member when you sign-in to Location19 you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section and join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there.  I'm sure you will be wanting to participate in the new Winbourne United Neighbors group.

Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but it will also permit you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.

Please be sure to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site.

I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.

John
