Hi Kelly,
Welcome to Location 19, probably the best resource for information about the 19th Ward. John Boutet told me last night you would be contacting me. Let me know what I can help you with.
Hi Kelly,
Welcome to Location19. Nice to have you join the site. I was just emailing one of your classmates who is also involved in this project. I hope you will find the site useful for your research. Now that you are a member, when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and you can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there. Check out A Brief Overview on Location19 Structure to get familiar with what's where. In the tabs, Be sure to check out the "All Groups - Icons" sub-tab.
To join a group such as Plymouth-Exchange Neighborhood Association click on the group, then in the upper right of the group page just under the banner picture, next to your name click on +Join Plymouth-Exchange Neighborhood Association and you are a member! Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
For your research needs, note that you can send a note to anyone on the site by going to their page and using the Send a Message option.
There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19. Be sure you make use of the search options. Also be sure to check out the Links tab. There is a lot of information about SW neighborhoods there.
