Thank you for joining Location19 Laurel.
I'm sure you will have a lot of beneficial interaction on many topics that have and will come up involving students living in the SW Quadrant. If you have not been following Location19 you probably will want to get a feel for some of the many issues that have been discussed that touch on U of R student issues. Please note the View All button in the lower right corner of the Events, Forum, Blog Posts, Groups, and several other boxes on the Main page. There are currently 340 Discussions and 258 Blog Posts. Some of Boulder and student related Discussions in the Forum have drawn 40 to 50+ replies, showing there is a lot of energy around these topics. Some of the concerns are probably very different than those voiced on the east side of the bridge. I look forward to seeing all viewpoints discussed. You are welcome to "Reply" or "Comment" on any of these.
You can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there. Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself. Be sure your email preferences are set for you to receive email notices. Here is the Location19 Email Preferences instruction page.
When you visit the site, be sure to look at the Latest Activity column on the left hand side of the main page. It lets you know what has recently be added to the site. It's also a good idea to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site.
Please post your picture. Step by step instructions can be found here How to Post Your Picture - It's easy!
I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.
