Great timing for joining Location19. Your ears must have been burning this week. People have been saying a lot of good things about you.

About two weeks ago I was talking about Location19 to Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW students working in the SW community. I mentioned I wished I saw more discussion on the site about educational issues. Well, I got my wish! I awoke July 6th to a phone call about School 16. Marian and I have been in hyper-drive since then getting up to speed on what has been going on and where we need to go from here to get that school and hopefully other schools back on track. I'm getting a good feeling about the team of devoted people who are coming together to try to reshape our schools into the learning and community centers we need for our children and our neighborhoods. I think it is going to be an interesting year and I welcome your participation.

Now that you are a member, when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and you can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there. Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself. If you can't find a group that serves your needs, You can start one. If there is anything I can do to help you with Location19 to maximize its value to you and the community, let me know.
