Hi Robert,
Welcome to Location19. I'm delighted to have you join the site. Now that you are a member, when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and you can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there. Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
Eleanor Coleman has been instrumental in helping Location 19 evolve from a site focusing primarily on 19th Ward residents to one that tries to encompass all residents of the SouthWest Quadrant and includes neighborhood and business associations and other organizations that impact all our residents. We are hoping that all the neighborhood organizations will set up a group on Location19. I invite you and Ron Allen to do that for SWAN. Currently the 19WCA and SBANA are the two neighborhoods that have set up groups so far.
There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19. Be sure you make use of the search options.
John
