Hi Dwayne, DeWain here. Is this Michelle's brother Dwayne? You probably know that I am the president of the 19th Ward Community Association this year, so here is the obligatory plea to join the 19th WCA.
We are actively working to address issues in our neighborhood and to represent the neighborhood at City Hall. The more members we have, the more strength we have to address those issues, and the more in-tune we are with what is on the minds of our residents.
Please check out our website at http://www.19wca.org/
You can call Ann at our office at 328-6571. Registration-only membership is free to all 19th Ward residents. I would encourage you to consider becoming a paying member, with the Individual level starting at $15.
If you have any questions, comments or input, please feel free to contact me at 527-9619.
Thanks,
DeWain Feller
President, 19th Ward Community Association (and Michelle's next door neighbor).
BTW, make sure that you bug Michelle to join too.
Welcome to Location19 Dwayne.
Now that you are a member when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there.
Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but it will also permit you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
Please post your picture. Step by step instructions can be found here How to Post Your Picture - It's easy! Having a picture posted helps neighbors get to know one another better.
Please be sure to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site.
I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.
John
