NeighborWorks^® Rochester collaborates with people and partners to strengthen, sustain, and promote city neighborhoods. As part of this mission, we are learning more about the commercial districts in our focused Healthy Blocks neighborhoods. We are fortunate enough to have Simon School of Business intern, Kristin Boyd with us
this summer. She is working to analyze business districts in different areas of the city. The goal of this analysis is to positively impact the businesses in these areas by evaluating the needs of the businesses, residents’ perception of business area, opportunities to provide additional goods and services, as well as funding opportunities through local, state or federal programs.

If you'd like to help, we are looking for southwest residents to complete a survey of their opinions and perceptions of the area's commercial district. Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Wegmans gift card! The survey is available here.
