On Sat. we kick off with our annual pancake breakfast at 8:30am in Aberdeen Square the site of Square Fair.  Vendor and entertainment starts at 10am . The parade will start at 216 Thurston Rd and travel south on Thurston to Sawyer turning left on Sawyer to Wellington and up Aberdeen to the square starting at 11am. This year's Square Fair was just spectacular!  Congratulations to all who worked so hard to make it the success that it was.

We have such a wonderful neighborhood and all of you helped to make this year's Square Fair the biggest I've seen yet. Everyone had fun. The music was great. The weather was great and the 19 th Ward residents showed up . Thank you all. See you next year for Square Fair's 50th Birthday.

Well, another Square Fair is behind us. There was a lot of planning and hard work that went into planing an event of this magnitude, I would like to thank all of those of you that helped both in the planning as well as the day of the fair. I hope we get even more of you involved next year for our 50 th anniversary celebration of the 19th Ward Community Association. Special thanks going out to LaShay Harris, don Hanks , Ken Chandler, Jackie, Farrell, Chenisvel , Ranora James. I want to thank all of our corporate and community sponsors for making this an even better event than last year's, the committee wil do its best to make it even bigger and better next year.

Square Fair Parade Marshal Dave Hunt and niece Amanda chat with our Senator prior to parade start on Friday evening.  Hunt's Hardware is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year.
