Event Description

We invite you to take part in this 2-day training and co-learning event happening at the MK Gandhi Institute this weekend. We are committed to facilitating a dialogue for community members to find nonviolent and restorative ways to deal with conflict in our communities.

Conflict is a natural outcome of differences, and it can serve to highlight an underlying broken connection within a community. Yet if the broken connection is
not repaired, this damage often leads to another painful or even harmful act, and then another, until the fabric of the community becomes so torn that violence
emerges, one person or group to another.

Restorative Circles (RC) offers

- ways for individuals, families, groups/organizations, and communities to create
concrete spaces for conflict that are safe and constructive
- to engage with the challenge of consciously building  whole system responses to
  community well-being
- generate effective solutions that are developed by those most affected
- strengthen connections and relationships between diverse peoples
- reinforce self-responsibility, and build social cohesion and harmony
