Event Description

Good Morning Community Partners, PCIC members and Clergy Response Team members,

Please join folks from the Southwest community as they gather and walk throughout the neighborhood on a prayer walk and handout flyers to raise awareness for the Sept 28, 2013 Gun Buy Back.

Who: The community at large and 60 neighborhood churches have been invited.

Why: We need God's favor to turn the tide of violence.

How: The group will gather at New Life Fellowship Church, 330 Wellington Ave., and break into 4 groups that will leave with flyers and cover Rochester's Southwest neighborhoods on foot by going in 4 directions praying for each neighborhood and giving out posters and leaflets. The 4 target areas are:
1. Chili Avenue
2. Genesee Street
3. Jefferson Avenue
4. Thurston Road
