Thanks for posting the poster.  I had to work Monday night but am very interested in the outcome of the meeting.

Just looking at the poster. Noticed one thing missing from Gardening, which is the Southwest Garden Group.  We have irregular meetings at group members homes, and make field visits to gardens and places of interest.   Most members are supportive of the Ravenwood Garden, and help when can.  We ae very intersted in supporting all the initiatives you have identified, and hope to be involved.  Please include us in future correspondance, and we will see how we can help.

I was not able to make it but very interested.   Please of course post ideas.  And any positive moves forward to make them happen!  And how we can help.  Great work, please keep us informed.

The 2nd 19th Ward World Cafe was held last night at the Arnett Library -about 30-35 19th Ward residents and friends participated in an evening of dialogue and enjoyed a lot of food!  Many good ideas were discussed and several people made some specific commitments for how to continue building community. When I get a few moments of free time I will share more thoughts about the evening. In the meantime, it would be great to hear comments from people who participated in this event.

HI everyone-

The World Cafe Planning committee has been hard at work planning for the Cafe event a week from now - Monday, June 20 at 6:30 PM. We hope you will consider joining us for an evening of dialogue and an opportunity to meet neighbors. We will be serving hot drinks, bottled water and cookies - we're asking people to also bring 'finger food' to share.

If you're planning to attend, please RSVP so we have an idea of how many participants to plan for.

THanks

MacClurge to link to the flier is in the .jpg file 19th_Ward_World_Cafe_2011.jpg .  The links in that picture are of course not live since it is a picture of text.  Here is the link for the World Café.
