The Education Committee of the SW Common Council will meet Wednesday, December 5th at 6:00 pm to finalize its response to the Superintendents proposals for the Facilities Modernization Plan at the School Board public hearing the following day. We will discuss the issues involved and review the 19WCA Position Statement regarding proposed Schools 16 and 10 closings and proposed consolidation with School 44. Presentation plans will be made made for the hearing. All residents and teachers are invited to participate and prepare for the School Board hearing.
