Event Description

Rochester, NY, November 6, 2008-- The Arnett Branch of the Rochester Public Library has announced Tax Talk, a series of programs on tax preparation. The first Tax Talk will take place on Thursday, November 20th, 6:30-7:45 pm. The library is located at 310 Arnett Boulevard.

Are you a first time filer? H and R Block will be helping people understand tax basics. Do you know the difference between standard and itemized deductions? How about personal exemptions and the difference between a refundable and non-refundable credit? This Tax Talk will answer all those questions and more.

The Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County is handicapped accessible. Accommodations may be provided for disabled program participants and must be made at least 10 business days before the program.
