NeighborWorks® Rochester is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency. They provide affordable rehab loan/grants to qualified homeowners which can be used to improve their properties.

New roofs, windows, siding, porch repairs, glass block windows, furnaces, house painting, as well as kitchen and bathroom improvements are just some of the things their resources can be used for.

NeighborWorks® Rochester also provides construction management and lead hazard services for homeowners who use their loan/grant program, insuring quality workmanship using lead safe work practices and quality materials. In addition to rehab loans,

NeighborWorks® also offers low interest energy improvement loans. There are no household income restrictions to qualify for their loan products. NeighborWorks® Rochester also administers the EmPower program, which makes available free energy improvements for income-qualified homeowners.
