They closed on Thurston Rd. and opened at 146 Lincoln, between West Ave. and Chili Ave. Urban Foodies will be meeting there on May 19. This info from Michael Warren Thomas, who said they are open Monday-Saturday from 10 am-9 pm, with meat specials as well as the vegetarian options they offered on Thurston.

it looks like a number of 'businesses' on Thurston are closed. Gone is Cricket - thank god, but the ugly green 'storefront' is a reminder of their business practices- move into poorer neighborhoods, get a lot of $ quick and leave! The garage (Capone's?) has been empty for quite a while. Juius Cafe closed 2 months ago.......I've not seen any recent information from/about the Thurston Business Associates group.
Lately, I've thought that a large portion of Thurston should just be bulldozed (save the legit businesses like Hunts and others) and build a central urban park with playgrounds, etc. Maybe something like that would drive away the drug dealers, drug traffic, gangs, etc - maybe if Thurston had something to offer to the larger 19th ward we could survive as a united neighbhorhood. Maybe we could build a walking path in the middle and attract some of the money that went to the University Avenue neighborhood.
