Does anyone know when the new Holleys is going to open? It's looking good. Anthony and I are very excited for them to open.

I have had neighbors go there and they rave about the food. Check it out.
Kristi and I went to Holley's for dinner this evening so I'll offer a quick review. We arrived around 6 and were the only customers and decided to eat in. 2 men were working and a woman also joined them while we were waiting for our food. We ordered at the counter and food was delivered to our table. Shortly after we arrive, several other customers showed up - some for take out and another group that sat at a table on the other side of the restaurant.
The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable and the interior has been nicely remodeled with new tables/chairs, an oak counter and the kitchen in the back of the building. The menu offers a nice variey of sanwhiches, wings, ribs and fish. I ordered a cheeseburger- it was EXCELLENT especially since they lightly grilled the very fresh roll. The fries were well done. Kristi ordered a steak sub and 3 wings to sample. The steak sub was also excellent and served with a great steak sauce. The wings were also very good (reminded me of the ones they used to make at Julius).
The breakfast menu was posted on the back and looks very basic but the kind of stuff I like when i go out for breakfast - eggs, meat, pancakes, potato's or grits, etc. Nothing fancy, just good basic food.
Overall, we really enjoyed the food at Holley's and will go back again.
Mark and I went for lunch yesterday again. We had been there previously with John and Marian B, and I ordered the same thing: burger with everything, including onions, which are sauteed in a delicious sauce, and some onion rings, best I have ever had. When we were there the first time, John had a fish sub, which was huge.

Urban Foodies will meet there tomorrow, Monday night, but unfortunately I will be at work. I urge everyone to try this spot! Holley's is truly "Home of Heavenly Food."
