The 3/50 Project (the350project.net), is a movement built around saving local business. The idea is pick 3 businesses in your community that you would hate to see disappear. Then over the next month, spend 50 dollars in those businesses, not each but combined. Every 100 dollars spent locally, 68 stays in that neighborhood. So what are your three? (It can be hard to pick just three!)

Easy! Mine are Hunt's Hardware, The French Quarter Cafe, and Meneze's Pizza.
I would have to say that mine are Hunt's, Boulder Coffee, and Meneze's, AND the French Quarter Cafe!
Hunt's Hardware, Holley's and Boulder....... and I've hosted several work related meetings at Boulder in order to bring 'non-local' money to the neighborhood. I'd love to have more choices about where to spend my money in the 19th ward but the rest of my local spending tends to be in other areas of the city and surrounding area..... it's probably politically incorrect to say this, but as much as I try i don't really like Meneze's pizza - Tony D's at Cornhill Landing is outstanding and Cam's on Lyell Avenue is also really good!
