The Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW Program (Brockport and Nazareth College) is sponsoring the Clothesline Project on March 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10.

This project was developed by a small group in 1990 to address the issue of violence against women and it has spread across the world since that time. See: www.clotheslineproject.org for information about the origins of this project.

The Clothesline at the GRC program is a powerful, visual display of 200 plus  T-shirts that have been created by women (and their loved ones) who have been impacted by domestic/intimate partner violence. Those who attend this display can also create a t-shirt that can be added to the larger display. (materials for creating t-shirts will be provided)

Our event will be held at the Brockport College MetroCenter on St. Paul Street (downtown, directly across from the newly constructed bus terminal location). Please see attached flyer for additional information about hours of the display.
