Packaging/Assembly/Printing, A & B Shifts

We have some upcoming positions in the next few weeks.  All light industrial positions (packaging/assembly/printing) A and B shifts.   We are looking for people that have their own transportation because unfortunately the positions are not on the bus line.  Some employers are in the city, but the bus runs funny for the shifts they need filled.  Another big company looking to hire is in Henrietta.

If anyone is interested, please have them come to our site and fill out an application immediately!  Pay ranges from $9-10/hour.

Thanks for your help.

Medicare company, Maximus to add 165 local jobs

Business process outsourcing firm Maximus Inc., which employs 160 people in Victor and Perinton, plans to open a new Pittsford facility by mid-May with a local workforce of 325.

Over the next five years, the company’s Rochester-area employment could surpass 400.

“Our new Pittsford location is critical in establishing a regional hub for efficient service delivery on behalf of our government clients,” Bruce Caswell, president of Maximus’ health services business, said Monday. “As a native upstate New Yorker, I’m excited to be a part of supporting the local community and contributing to its longer-term economic growth.”

A cluster of state and local politicians joined Caswell at HSBC Plaza in downtown Rochester to detail Virginia-based Maximus’ expansion plans.

The company’s Pittsford location, at 3750 Monroe Ave., will handle Medicare health appeals adjudication, processing 220,000 appeals this year.

The jobs, Caswell said, will include clinical positions such as doctors, nurses and physical therapists as well as administrative personnel.

The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency in February approved $226,000 in sales and mortgage tax breaks toward the $1.7 million in renovations being done at the Monroe Avenue location.

The state is providing $2 million in tax credits over five years.

“Maximus is a growing company that will create hundreds of new jobs by capitalizing on the strong demand for its services,” said Lt. Gov. Robert J. Duffy, who was in Rochester for the announcement.

Maximus announced in March it was closing a Philadelphia-area office, and a small number of those workers are relocating to Monroe County. But most of the expansion will be new hiring.
