U.S. Postal Service hiring seasonal workers for the holiday season.

Openings are at the Logistics & Distribution Center on Lyell Avenue and the Rochester Processing and Distribution Center on Jefferson Road. Wages start at $12 an hour and workers would be needed to start in December.

Those who are interested in applying can do so online through September 30th. 

There will also be two informational sessions to guide potential applicants through the process. 

Those will be held at the Processing and Distribution Center on Jefferson Road on Wednesday, September 14 and Monday, September 19. Sessions are from 11 a.m. to noon and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. both days.

Attendees should park in the employee Lot C and report to security.

Please let clients know about this very good opportunity to learn about an important and good paying job. 

The City of Rochester has internships for 10 people in the Focused Investment Strategy areas;  this internship prepares people to learn more about energy conservation and more about the heating and cooling industry.  There is also assistance in becoming BPI certified.  They are looking for 10 people.  These are the FIS areas.
