Attached is another extensive list of over 185 Jobs in the Area. 11-09 JOBS.doc

I discovered an article about the Macy's Seasonal Workers Job Fair and investigated it. From there I found so many excellent positions that I had to create another listing. The mileage column reflets the distance from the STP Office at 691 St. paul Street to the job offering. Hope this is helpful to all.

Dear C.A.S.H. Volunteers and Friends:

As you know, C.A.S.H. is about more than preparing income tax returns. An important part of our mission includes connecting working families with products and services that will improve their financial future. We have been successful in that area by employing Asset Specialists who focus on encouraging and facilitating direct deposit of tax refunds, and savings programs.
We anticipate that we will have several positions available for Asset Specialists at our Super Sites from January 2011 through April 2011. Asset Specialists receive modest compensation, and are expected to work 3 to 4 days per week, including evenings and Saturdays. Please read the job description below. If you are interested, please follow the directions regarding sending a cover letter and a resume. Please feel free to forward this to others who may have an interest.
Thank you for your consideration and assistance with recruiting capable persons for this position.
Rita

Attached is the MCDHS November Job Search Companion. I’m sure you all know someone who has already started counting down the days till Christmas, so this month I focused on the seasonal jobs: Nov 2010.doc

Many of us think of seasonal jobs as “an extra income for the holidays” but recent studies have shown that the likely hood of these positions turning into full time employment is very high. It provides the perfect opportunity for employers to hire many applicants and observe them over several weeks. The employers now have the ability to see how well someone will fit into their organization and their ability to perform the actual work needed before offering them full-time employment. Studies have shown that many companies are choosing to post only seasonal positions this time of year with the knowledge that they will offer many of these employees full-time positions after the 1st of the year.
