A member of COTS was involved in an attempted robbery this morning on Adams Street. Someone tried to steal their air conditioner out of their window. Luckily no one was hurt and she was able to scare them off.

Welcome COTS President.
We are delighted that you have joined Location19. I think this is going to be a very exciting year for SouthWest Rochester. As you have probably already noticed the winds of change are picking up on school issues. If you have not already been contacted, please connect with Dawn and Eleanor. We are trying to get all the Presidents to connect with Mary Adams, Willa Powell and and Ralph Spezio to start a vibrant year for serious school revitalization discussions. We have to get the SWCC involved in this issue. That's what I've been preoccupied with this week, getting the myself up to speed on issues concerning School 16 and making connections with people who have wisdom to share to make our efforts productive as we encourage positive change in our schools. I think it's going to be a fun year and look forward to working with you.
I see you're off to a good start posting pictures. If you need any help when you are ready to start a COTS group, don't hesitate to call. One of the newer features in the group options are group Pages which you can find under the Group Members box on the Group page. If you are the group creator or a designated group administrator you can create and edit pages in your group. It is a good way to help organize your group material. Newer groups such as SW Cycling have pages. Being a group member lets you post to the group Discussion Forum and Comment Wall and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19. Be sure you make use of the search options.
Please post your Avatar. Got a Presidential Seal? I can see Lynnette having fun with creating one! Step by step instructions can be found here How to Post Your Picture - It's easy!
