Volunteer Opportunities

We could use volunteers to help on an occasional basis or ongoing.  Current activities would include general maintenance of the greenhouse -- sweeping, cleaning pots, watering, planting seeds, potting-up seedlings washing the walls of the greenhouse. We are also looking for people who may be willing to be at the greenhouse for two hour periods.  This is quite flexible, but we are currently in need for volunteers for Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.  If we could even get 4 people each committing to one…See More

Welcome to Location19 Deb.

I'm sure you will find this site useful to you. Eleanor and others have set up several Groups you will probably want to join. Be sure to join the Southwest Garden Group. There are a lot more groups than the ones that show the right-hand column. Click on View All at the bottom of the column and look at both pages of groups to find the ones you want. Look around and see what interests you and participate with your posts wherever you find something of interest that you want to comment on.

Please do two things as soon as you can. 1. Subscribe to the Daily Email Digest in the upper left box on the main page so that you are alerted to what is posted each day. 2. Please post a picture of yourself on Deb Bridge's Page by clicking on the "Please Post Your Picture!" box on the upper left of that page. If you have problems finding a favorite picture of yourself to post, give me a call and I'll help you. I think it is important that pictures be posted so we all get to recognize each-other at meetings and other events. I'll crop one out of a picture I have of you from the Grow Green Greenhouse. You can either post that or another one you like better.

Have fun,

SW Merchants
