Hi John,
I'm delighted you joined Location19. I look forward to your input on riverfront issues, history of the area or any other topics that you are interested in. Get familiar with the site and see what groups you want to join or start and what information has been posted. There around 200 Discussions tucked into 10 Discussion Forums. Each discussion may have 0 to 50+ replies in them. There are 190 posts in the blog section. The blog posts can have comments attached to them by the readers. In the 26 Groups that have been started there are anywhere from 1 to 22 members at present and the content added in those Groups is all over the place. There is a Discussion Forum in each group that may have discussion in it with replies added and there is the Comment Wall in each group which seems to be the popular way for many to add content. I've used that method of posting in the garden tour reviews in the Southwest Garden Group. I happened to start documenting the tours that way when I started because pictures posted on the Comment Wall were "in your face" if a person entered the group to look around. I could have documented those using the Discussion approach instead which would have had the advantage of inviting replies but the content of which is not obvious until you open the particular Discussion. I'm still getting my feet wet on how best to use the features of this site and certainly welcome your thoughts. We have been working with Eleanor on how best to set up a document libraries for items such as meeting minutes and reports for community groups such as the SW Common Council. We are still learning how best to do all this.

At any rate I look forward to your input. Keep up your good work.
John
