Welcome to Location19. I'm delighted you signed up. As you may know while we have always been open to members from throughout the area we recently expanded the stated focus of Location19 to serving the whole SouthWest Quadrant. We are hoping to get a lot of community organization materials on line to improve transparency of what is going on in the area and to give people a sense of how they can participate in what is going on.
If you haven't already, please subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site. Since posts can be added to any of over a hundred places on the site, having a list of daily postings is necessary to see all the activity. Also please post your picture. We are trying to make this an online town meeting place where we come together to share ideas and concerns. Everything we can do to get to know each other better is important.
Look at the 29 Groups currently on Location19 and see which ones interest you. Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but it will also permit you to receive email notifications that group members can send out to the group about events, reminders and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
Have fun and don't hesitate to call Marian or me if you have questions.
John
