I would like to thank you for being a member of the 19th Ward Community Association. Like you, I am concerned about education issues and making our neighborhood a better place for kids. The 19th WCA's Education Committee has been dormant, but we can get it back on track if we can find enough people who are willing to work on the committee.

Welcome to Location19. We love to see concerned parent join in to improve the community.
Now that you are a member when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 as well as join any of the groups to participate in the discussions there. I'm sure you will want to join the Parent and Community Coalition for Educational Change group that Mary has set up. I look forward to seeing the results that will come out of that endeavor.
Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but it will also permit you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.
