19th Ward House Tour tickets on sale now.

Join us this Saturday, Oct 13 for the 19th Ward House Tour.  The tour costs $10, and the keepsake booklet serves as your program, guide and ticket to enter each house.  The tickets/booklets can be purchased at the 19th WCA office (216 Thurston - north of the Presbyeterian Home), Menezes Pizza (445 Chili Avenue - near Post), Hunts Hardware (390 Thurston Road - near Anthony).

Little Theater movie fundraiser for the 19th WCA.

Do you want to see a great movie and raise money for the 19th Ward Community Association all at the same time?  Then buy a ticket from the Association office (328-6571) or any 19th WCA delegate or officer today.

Here's how it works.  You buy a fundraiser ticket for $15, and $8 of that goes to the 19th WCA.  You then turn in your fundraiser ticket at the Little Theater box office on Sunday, March 18 (this coming Sunday) to see any movie that is playing that day. …

Spread the word about meeting on Brooks development

Just in case you missed the calendar posting, there is a VERY important public meeting coming up very soon (Tuesday).  The City will be holding a meeting to provide the latest information on two aspects of the new Brooks Landing Development:

- The new development of an 11-story student apartment building with restaurant immediately to the north of the Staybridge hotel, and a 1-story credit unit building on the SE corner of Brooks and Genesee.
