Pizza in the Ward

So Ant and I have been trying to find the best pizza in Rochester. Having Come from the land of pizza, Utica NY, we have been searching for just the right pie. We have lived in Rochester for 4 years, and for most of that time, Cobbs Hill Pizza on Park Ave, was the pizza to beat. But having bought our house in the 19th Ward last year, and the price of gas, Park Ave is a bit far to drive. So we tried the usual offerings, Pontillo's, Marks, you know the names. But then we found Menezes on Chili. They make the BEST pizza in the 19th Ward, and we have to say all of Rochester. The crust is thin and NY Style. There is lots of sauce, full of fresh herbs you can taste, not just see! haha So if your hungry for a great pizza, check out 19th Wards best kept secret. Menezes! Plus they cut it in squares like they do in Utica. Much more fun to eat that way!

Try their steak and buffalo chicken pizza sometime too. I know you're a sauce lover, but it's too good to pass up. My only bit of sadness is that now that I'm here by myself, their pizza is too much and I can't justify the order. :(

Hey Mark, I LOVE sauce! But I will try a white pizza as well :) They have a great crust, so what ever they put on it will be great! Thanks for the suggestion.
