Reminder: gathering at 191 Winbourne Road 5-7pm tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8 to say goodbye to Shawn O'Hara and Anthony. A dish to pass would be great. Will have sausage on the grill.

Here are some pictures of the June 8, 2010 cookout at MacClurg Vivian's home, held to thank Shawn and Anthony for their friendship and for the community building work that they did in the 3 years they lived on Penhurst Street. We wanted to wish them well as they prepare to relocate because of job considerations. Shawn set up Location19 which is a wonderful social networking site for our community and they both have worked on numerous community events. We plan to continue to build on the foundation Shawn has laid for us with Location19 and hope that someday we will see them back in Rochester with great jobs here.

A full set of pictures can be found in this Kodak Gallery album:

Thanks for hosting the event MacClurg and thanks and farewell to Shawn and Anthony.

MacClurg, thanks for hosting this party at your "not orange" home! For those who didn't make it, several of us enjoyed an outdoor gathering to wish Shawn and Anthony well.

As you may or may not know, Shawn independently developed this community website because he saw a need for better communication and a place where people could share information, ideas, etc. His idea has generated 200 + followers in a short period of time! Thank you Shawn for you efforts and Anthony for all of your contributions! I know that we will all miss both Shawn and Anthony's presence in our community. The 'good news' is that they can stay connected even when they don't physically live here anymore as there are plans underway to keep Location19 going!

For those who could not make the party, i hope you will take a moment to wish Shawn and Anthony well as they move away from us and toward new adventures in their life together.
