Marian visits best diner in NYS! An historic diner, with "real" food. All home-made. Fluffy biscuits with sausage and gravy, chicken salad sandwich with ripe tomatoes, French onion soup with unique mushrooms that are freshly-cut, and she reports good results with diner-made corned beef hash. This five-table and counter service diner is heaven on earth. You can't do any better, especially for $8. We were fortunate to get there at 11:30, as when we left after 12, it was standing room waiting for a seat. They are known for their hash browns as well as their pies. Pancakes also a specialty, as they are a breakfast and lunch place. They have a special for lunch each day. This is a farmers daily restaurant at its best.
You have to go there at least once in your life. (I try every year.) Then go on a winery tour!
