A message from Susan Morehouse of the Arnett Block Group:

Please take note of the new stop sign on Arnett at Wellington. This has been a dangerous corner and we have been working with the city engineer to remedy that. When they redo Arnett next year they will add crosswalks each direction. Right now, people are not noticing it and running the stop sign. Please be careful! We have arranged to have a traffic officer there during busy times but that means you could also get a ticket if you run the stop. Just an FYI! This should help kids and adults trying to cross the street to get to the library, people trying to pull out onto Arnett from Wellington, and people getting off the bus on either side of the street. Its a busy corner!
