Most of you know I'm trying hard to restart Genesee Valley Little League. As I struggle to get the word out that we are now registering kids, the idea kind of hit me this morning: suppose we had a low power radio station committed to the Southwest Quadrant and the issues that affect us. 

For the first time in 12 years congress is finally clearing the way for low power community based stations to apply for FCC permits to operate. Such a station might be on the air continuously or have some number of days a week to broadcast. It would be powered by donations and open to organizations to have another voice and more easily accessible voice for the air waves. What do you think.
