Hi Margy, no info as to why the cat was trapped, we're lucky to know where - probably annoyed by cats trespassing in his yard. does anyone in your group track the known colonies in your area?

Laura, do you have any more details re: why this cat was trapped??
We don't have an orange ear tipped cat on Marlborough.
For those wondering what the heck 'ear tipped' means: it's a procedure done by vets whereby they surgically remove a small corner of the cats ear and is intended as a sign that a feral cat has been spayed/neutered and is being cared for (hopefully!) by others.

Just today (10/27/2009) a grey and black tabby has been around. He (looks like a he) is new to the street. He also looks well fed. If you're missing your cat, please call 424-6946 and we will try to help.

These new photos are from the feral cat houses that we now have in our back yard. Our friend and neighbor Mark helped develop plans for these and Kristi built them from scratch! They are fully insulated and should comfortably hold 2 or 3 cats each.
We also have an additional shelter built into the garage so we're ready for winter!

This might work as a way to post photos of area ferals. I believe that others can add photos to this album.
