Work done by the Coalition for Police Reform (CPR) has led to a Police Accountability Board recommendation.  Reviews of the proposal report for a Police Accountability Board are being presented to various groups throughout the City.   Authors of the report are seeking the support of neighborhood groups through a letter of endorsement to encourage the City Council to establish the Police Accountability Board.

I had a chance to take in a presentation by one of the authors, Barbara Lacker-Ware, at last week's Delegates Council meeting of the 19WCA.  This Thursday, April 20, 2017, Barbara will be presenting the information to the SouthWest Common Council at 6:00pm at the Phillis Wheatley Library.
