Fire at 3 Penhurst Street

Fire at 3 Penhurst Street last night. Gosh I did not even hear the sirens this morning! As I turned onto Penhurst from Thurston Road as I came home just now, I realized that there had been a fire. It looks pretty bad. It's going to take a bit to repair the damage. And considering this is the townhouses that we tried to get cleaned up last summer, I'm not too surprised. From the article in the D&C no one was home when the fire started. I hope it was not arson. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The sirens woke us up at about 2:30am. We went out and there was a lot of smoke pouring out of the building but no flames. Firefighters broke the attic windows trying to find the source of the smoke. They seemed to have everything under control quickly and no one was hurt at all. Was there a lot of damage? Are the other residents back in their apartments or is the entire building damaged?
