I read of a new book, "A Sudden Gift of Fate" by Mary Pat Hyland in an article in the magazine Life in the Finger Lakes (a great pub!)  I was at Arnett today and requested they acquire, as it of local interest.  The book is inspired by Keuka Springs Winery on East Lake Rd. outside of Penn Yan.  The author spent some time there and wrote about winery operations, and the lives of the people. 

It should be fascinating especially to me since I know the owners of the winery quite well, Judy and Len Wiltberger.  Judy is a former teacher from Irondequoit; Len a former Kodaker.  They retired and made a fantastic reputation for award-winning wines, now living full time on the lake.  Their family is now also involved in winery operations.   It should be a good book.
