If you are looking for a place to knit, consider joining us at SewGreen@Rochester, 264-268 Arnett Blvd, 14619. Every Friday (except holidays) we will be knitting together from 3 to 6 p.m. in our brightly-lit workspace. Visit our website for more information about the shop: www.sewgreenrochester.org And thank you!

OK I am not a knitter.  However June 11th is international Yarn bombing day.

A big yarn bombing project may get the 19th Ward and Southwest Rochester some nice PR and a new piece of artwork.  Maybe yarnbombing the planter in the Ravenwood Garden, or the benches in the Butterfly garden near the library, or the Welcome sign on Chili Avenue.

Definitely interested in this group! After two recent hand surgeries, I'm looking to get back into things slowly. (When I say slowly, two rows is an accomplishment!) Nice to know this exists! : )

Does one need to be an experienced knitter to join? I'm really, really good at crochet, but my knitting is limited. I'd like to improve! Knit, purl, and a couple of basics (rib, seed) are my sole accomplishment at this point - and my Mom lives too far away to help! Let me know if I can join you sometime!
