My  profile picture was taken in August, not in September, near downtown in Southwest Rochester.

Dan,

What a great photo!  Exactly where did you take it?  Fantastic.

There is a cut through between the two halves of Colvin Street near the Danforth Center that crosses the tracks. Right before that was taken a train came by, so you want to be careful in that location.
The Competition is heating up in the Best Sunrise Contest in the Southwest Rochester Contest.  Who knew we has such great locations to watch a Sunrise.   Sunrise times and pictures are posted in the 19th ward and Southwest Rochester good things are happening here page on Facebook.  Check them out and post your own, and John if there is anyway to post them here, lets do so.
It is time to judge the September photos for the best sunrise in Southwest Rochester contest. We have a generous anonymous donation. The winner will win a coupon for 50% off the regular price of a beverage order at Boulder Coffee. So we need people to vote on the best picture. Voting is easy go to the 19th ward and southwest rochester good things are happening here Facebook page. Just go and like a photo. Yes, you can like your own photo. You can also like more than one photo.  The photo with the most likes by 10/7 at midnight, will win. The coupon will then need to be used by 10/15.
WOW I missed this photo contest. Anymore to come????  Photographic expression is something that won't generate many complaints, whys and 'what ifs'...... and is usually enjoyed by most.

Yes the new contest is what best represents Fall in Southwest Rochester.  Entries are made on the 19th ward and Southwest Rochester Good things are happening here Facebook page.  Voting is still going on the Sunrise contest.

This is the current leader in the voting. There are several more currently in second place. The voting is close.

Dan,

Way to go!  Thanks for finding a way to add these to Location19.  My vote goes to the first one.
