Event Description

ABUNDANCE COOPERATIVE MARKET presents sustainable food expert PATTY LOVE speaking on Lots of Food.  The Rochester-based Lots of Food program is a model of food distribution that plants FREE FOOD in urban neighborhoods right where there are hungry people. This urban food forest project is using ecological gardening and permaculture practices to grow diverse, perennial food systems in small and urban spaces, AND, it empowers and educates neighbors to eat healthy and become gardeners themselves.

Wednesday, January 22nd, 7-8 PM

School Without Walls, 480 Broadway

Patty Love is the Program Director of the Lots of Food project and Rochester Permaculture Center, both programs of Seeking Common Ground. In addition, Patty is the owner of Barefoot Edible Landscape and Permaculture where she uses her design skills to help individuals and businesses enjoy edible outdoor spaces and create more sustainable lives. This public talk is FREE and ALL ARE WELCOME!
