Creating Regenerative Economic Systems

Hi, Folks.  I'm sharing a resource that I hope will be helpful to the work that you are doing:  http://www.natcapsolutions.org/projects/LASER/LASERguide.pdf Permaculture design pertains to the design of diverse, stable, resilient, and regenerative design of all systems - not simply food growing.  As you know, we need to reweave our local economic system, too.  Hope this will spark some ideas.See More

Hi Patty,

Welcome to Location19.  You will find several people who share your permaculture interests on Location19.

I see you have already joined the Montgomery Neighborhood Center group and posted  in that group.  You can also post to the main Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section when signed in.  Check out A Brief Overview on Location19 Structure to get familiar with what's where.  In the tabs, Be sure to check out the "All Groups - Icons" sub-tab.  We are currently up to 66 groups.   You should check out The Seedfolk Store group which Eleanor Coleman has started up.  If you have not been to the The Seedfolk Store, it's at at 540 West Main, I'm sure you will fall in love with the place.  Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.   You will also find the Westside Farmers Market  interesting.  Their group is Friends of the WFM.  Also check out Grow Green Rochester and the Southwest Garden Group

There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19.  Be sure you make use of the search options.

It' a good idea to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site even if you don't check Location19 every day.  You can also find a list of new information posted by looking at the Latest Activity column on the Main page.

I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.

John
