"Way to go, Ms. Frances!!!!!  Make sure you let people know your needs around the garden at the corner of Frost & Epworth.   It would be great if we could find some volunteers that could help the elderly in your area maintain it."

Hi Frances,

Your perseverance has payed off!  I'm delighted to see you were able to navigate the sign-up procedure and get the sign-up letter through your email system.  Don't hesitate to call to get help with any questions you have.  I'd be delighted to work with you to help you get a National Night Out group set up or any thing else you want to do.

Now that your are a member you can post your profile picture.  I'm sure I can find one of you from the tons of pictures I've taken at community events.  I can help you post it if you want.   Step by step instructions can be found here: How to Post Your Picture - It's easy! if you want to try it yourself.

I can also work with your to get some Logo picture for the National Night Out group or event posts.

Now that you are a member you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there.  Note that to post you have to sign-in so the system knows who you are.  To post comments in the various groups, you also need to join the group first. That is very easy to do: just click on a group you want to look at and if you are not a member and want to join, you will see a  +Join XYZ Group next to your name just under the banner picture.  Just click that button and you will become a member of that group.

Probably the easiest thing will be if we get together some time to go over any questions you have and talk about what to put into a NNO group.  Maybe you can give Dorothy Hall a call and we can all get together at the Library to go over this.  She would like to get a PLEX group set up.  We can use a computer there.

Have fun on Location19 Frances.
