Raquel,

The French Quarter Cafe is the best thing that has happened in the 19th Ward in the last two years! It is truly a great enhancement to the neighborhood, and I have had friends visit from Corn Hill, Webster, and in the Ward. Everyone loves it. If anyone has not tried it yet, oh my God, the food is stupendous. Keep up the good work, R, and welcome to the Ward. I would eat there every week if I had time. All neighbors should sample this wonderful cuisine. Your problem will be deciding which menu items to choose. A must is a cup of the smoked chicken and sausage gumbo to start, or the Natchitouches meat pies are wonderful. Then go on to a Crawfish Etouffee and you will be in heaven! The Sicilian chicken is also nice. All side dishes are excellent, and many order the sweet potato casserole as a dessert.
