Email subscriptions of Location19

Hi Location19er's!



After several requests, and much research, I have added an email subcription service to Location19. You will find in the upper left of the website (above the "Latest Activity" section) a link to add your email to the subcription service. It is free, and secure (powered by Google) and seems to function pretty well. Give it a try (you can unsubscribe as well) and let me know what you think. Mindful Meditation for Children and Adults

Mindful Meditation Sessions for Children and Adults



What: St. Stephen's Episcopal Church hosts weekly Mindful Meditation sessions for adults and children every Tuesday evening. No meditation experience needed. Meditation is facilitated by Wendy Sullivan, LMSW and based on the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction work of Jon Kabat-Zinn. Sessions are free and open to the public. St. Stephen’s is wheelchair accessible.

On a more positive note...

I want to call everybody's attention to a wonderful happening on the corner of Chili & Thurston today. I was able to catch part of it but unfortunately my camera's battery died 1/3 of the way through.



Kids from the Carlson Y and Miss Sweet Potato Pie's dance studio kids joined forces today to celebrate Michael Jackson's life and music. The energy and joy these kids have - and their incredible talent - is beginning to redeem that notorious corner. WOW. Just WOW.
