Hey Location19er's! I just wanted to give you all an update as to what and where Anthony and I are up to. Many of you may remember that Anthony was not feeling well as we were planning our move out to Seattle in June. Well about 2 weeks before we were to drive across country he took a turn for the worse. We ended up moving to Binghamton NY where we have been staying with family for the last month and a half.

Anthony is doing better, due to medication, but is still in pain, and can not use his eyes or really get out of bed. He has been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, which is like having a pinched nerve in the face. His is located behind his left eye, which prevents him from opening and using his eyes. It is said to be one of the worst pains in the world, but we have been fortunet that his doctors have been able to control much of the pain, except for some occasional nerve spasms. At this point it's looking like he will have to have surgery to relieve the pressure against the nerve that is causing the pain. We will be traveling back to Rochester in the next month to see a group of specialists to determine what exactly has to happen. Until then, we are settling into Binghamton, and will me moving into an apartment next week. Things have been extremely trying for us, but we both remain in good spirits as we manage what life has thrown at us.

It has been with the continued well wishes, thoughts and prayers from all our friends and family. You don't know how much they are appreciated. Thank you.

Anthony and Shawn, Know that when you come back "home" to the 19th Ward for Ant's treatment, we are here waiting to support you. I hope he is going to UofR/Strong, as I just got out of there for spine surgery, and they are excellent as a hospital. But main point is, the 19th Ward is going to give you a home while you are here. I can coordinate and we will have a place for you to live while treatment takes place. I sent you a private message to get in touch. We will see what you need and the Ward will take care of it, in terms of a place to stay, a meal, some company. Fellow residents, will be in touch as we learn more.
