We had an unexpected guest for dinner last Friday.  His dinner, not ours!   He spent about half an hour by the bird feeder.  Never before seen a turkey in the yard on Enterprise St.

Bill,

Judi was talking about the picture at the top of the Location19 page.  This week I took Mark's turkey picture, optimized it and used it for the banner.

Mark,

Marian said "What a beauty."  And Judi said "NICE  banner, John!"  Were they referring to pictures?  If so, how can I access them?

Hope the powers-that-be gave you Thanksgiving off.  Hope it was a good one!

John,

Not at all.  It is a rare sight in the city.  Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Hey Mark, hope you don't mind my swiping your turkey for the banner...

Mary --- odd, I've never had mice at my feeder in 28 years.  I get a huge variety of birds, although mostly sparrows, but also blue jays, cardinals, woodpeckers, finches, morning doves, and more.   The turkey was a real surprise.

Aww would love a turkey visit but I think my dogs would not make it safe. All I've experienced from putting bird food are mice (yuck!).

Coyote's really STINK!  When I was in LA, we knew when a coyote had been lurking around at night the next morning even w/o a sighting.................Skunks, coyotes just a stinkin' mess. Southwest AKA the Wild Kingdom!
