At 6:45a this morning, I accompanied my daughter to the Westside Division RPD Roll Call. Shea Baker-Washing was so moved by the compassion Officer Phillips displayed at the recent triple homicide that she just had to let him know. Her phone calls started immediately after seeing the picture posted by one of the news stations of Officer Phillips with a family member of one of the victims. Found an old pic of the SW Community CERT team just prior to a Chemical Disaster Drill involving area hospitals: Strong, Highland, Park Ridge and Rochester General. The drill was conducted w/o prior knowledge to the hospitals to see if their drill procedures were in place! There was also a 'security' drill conducted at the hospitals during the disaster drill with a disguised terrorist. I do believe the CERT training is to be offered again in the near future. We will…
