that doesn't sound good, are you proposing any action? Have you talked with NSC? Is this legal?

No I don't think it's legal.  BTW where are the NSC inspectors? I have also noticed that maneuvering the streets is getting harder and harder since more cars are now parked on the streets.  The license plates are from out of state.  Could this be due to the increase in student population?  Maneuvering is hard now and we Do NOT have snow yet!

thanks for your additional thoughts Judi. I suspect the NSC staff have a full plate and your call to them regarding a request for their help would be useful. I appreciate how much you care.

Inspectors seem hard to come by these days ..... I imagine you might know this already but Gary Kirkmire is the director of Code/Inspection. We have recently involved him in some complaints on our street so you may want to contact him directly if NSC doesn't respond.

It seems to me that the city could make a TON of money if they started really ticketing illegally parked vehicles. I see them every day on Thurston, Genesee Street, and some of the rental homes on Genesee Park Blvd (near Genesee).

LOL Margy, that's what happens when single houses are chopped up to make 2-3 apartments or 4-5 separately rented rooms.  Everybody has cars, and nowhere to park them except on the street or paved over front/back yards. ( a beautiful sight) A nightmare in the winter and difficulty maneuvering during the other months.  Oh Lord, and don't throw in the school buses!!! If little old non-paid community folks (us) see these things happening, WHERE are the eyes of the City PAID workers...............*justaskin* Oh and BTW with all these roll-offs and hammering being done, WHERE are the green colored permits that are supposed to be visible from the street??
