Help needed to find temporary foster care for 3 housecats (house going non-pet) or pet friendly rental

My landlord gave us 30 days notice that he is changing our lease to non-pet as of June 1.

I am looking for a new apt/house rental that is pet friendly and that I can afford (retired on fixed income).  Until I can find one, I will gladly provide for food, litter and any needed (none expected) vet expenses as well as something to compensate for time and care for my three indoor cats.  They are about 6 years old and I have had them since they were rescued as kittens.   I am looking for an affordable rental that is "pet friendly" and simply don't know how long it will take me to find someplace suitable.  I've been in my current residence for over 5 years and am looking for something in the Plex/19th ward general area.

If anyone has any suggestions or would be willing to foster my cats would really appreciate hearing from you.  I don't want to have to take them to a shelter, but I have limited alternatives.  Thanks so very much.

Hi Kathleen,

I know of a place for rent at Elmdorf and Genesee, lower apartment, all one level. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, sun room. Cats ok! I am not sure what your budget is but if you're interested send me a message :)

Hi Ksenya

Thanks so much for  your reply.  My budget is somewhat flexible but I do live on a fixed income so it is far short of infinite.  I'd like to follow up - you can call me at 563-9059 or email me direct at katmandel@yahoo.com.

Thanks again

Kat
